My friend had really great ideas for bridesmaid gifts at her wedding. I was really surprised that she even bought me a gift, as although I was her head bridesmaid and helped her out, I did it because I wanted to and didn’t expect anything more than a verbal thank you - which she gave to me at the hen night. It was lovely that she bought gifts for all of her bridesmaids and picked things which suited the personality of each of the girls. One of the girls is about to go on a beach holiday and so she got a couple of beach bags which she was thrilled with. I still wasn’t expecting a gift when I was presented with the most lovely monogram purse. It is a design which I have always admired and she obviously picked up on that and even convinced me the week before that a very similar purse was too expensive for me to afford! What a lovely gift, I shall think of her every time that I use it and I am sure that I will use it a lot - for all of those special occasions when I really want to make a good impression!
